Morning sure came early today. Last night we were up pretty late looking at pictures and slides and the kids loved playing in Grandma and Grandpa's yard catching fireflies. Grandpa made us his famous Orange soda floats. We got to church on time and the Rachel, Ryan and Anna all got in a few more winks during sacrament meeting. Grandma gave a great talk on the church's Welfare program and most of the kids had a great time in Primary, although Anna decided she wanted to stay with me for Sunday School and Relief Society. We rushed home after church and threw all our stuff in the car and raced to Severna Park to get to Emma's dance recital. Emma was really cute. She did a ballet and a tap number. All the kids enjoyed the recital, I was a bit surprised my older boys wanted to go but after I stopped to think about it I understood. After it was over I asked Taylor if he liked it, he pointed to the older girls class and, "I liked them". Rachel was entralled by the dancers the moment we walked in she was in awe. We came in during Swan Lake I sat her on my lap and she fought to get down. She not only wanted to get closer she wanted to dance too. She sat there spun her arms around in the air swayed to the music. She loved it.
Ali turned 11 today so we celebrated her birthday with her favorite Lasagna and brownies, it was easy to see why she loves Lasagna - it was delicious. The kids laughed and played and had a great time while the adults visited and watched Chris Farley videos. It was a really nice evening. Liz and Jim went home around 11:00 and we then we put the kids to bed.
