The colors and layers of the rock are amazing
We got a kit from the visitors center with
all kinds of fun activities. Caught water bugs
and this black one is our attempt to take
pictures of the amazing stars we saw while
star gazing. We discovered we would need
to leave the shutter open much longer than
the kids were willing to stay - so we didn't
get any of the stars but they were amazing.
Our hike - the kids were tired, hot and thirsty - but the view
from the top was spectacular.
